Larger building imply higher proportion of energy losses or energy gains. The Multifamily housing was used to understand HVAC, Lighting and water systems after understanding the heat losses from the building envelope. The building envelope evolved in porosity and thickness as the semester progressed as we grasped and understood the concepts. Energy code reviews were done to understand regional variances in building codes and standards. Lot of calculations were based on the ASHRAE standards.
